There is a certain kind of magic in small moments. That first sip of tea before the world wakes up, the glow of a candle beside that book you could barely put down, the curl of incense smoke disappearing into thin air, that first spray of perfume while you're getting ready for the night.
These are ordinary things, but they have a strange way of transforming the space around us and the way we feel within them.
That idea is where Alchemori begins. It lives in those moments of transformation.
Some of you may have known this space before as Winsome Wicks. What began as a whimsical candle shop slowly grew into something more. Over time, I found myself drawn not only to fragrance itself, but the changes that happen around it.
First it was the way wax melts, releasing scent into the air, changing the atmosphere. Then the way wood powders and resins curl into thin wisps of smoke and shift the feeling of a room. Finally how a collection of raw materials and molecules can become something capable of bringing back a memory you thought you had forgotten.
Alchemori is a place for the quiet, curious moments. For candlelit evenings, rain against windows, well-loved books, handwritten notes and the strange comfort found in beautiful, unusual things.
Here, fragrance is more than something pleasant in the background, it is a way of creating atmosphere, preserving memories, and adding a little ritual to everyday life.
Through candles, incense, perfume and the stories behind them, I hope to explore not only what we smell, but why certain scents stay with us and the effects they have on us.
Welcome to Alchemori.
The kettle is on, the candles are lit and the workshop door is open.
